Hi there!
Looks like some species of blind snakes. They look like worms but are actually snakes. Not sure what type of blind snake that guy has in his puddle, but they are pretty much harmless and usually subterranean. They eat little bugs and termites and stuff depending on the species. I think most literature says they are in South America, Africa, and Asia, but Texas has them as well… don’t know how far north they have gone. I’m sure somebody with more expertise will let us know after they see this humble answer! ;P

Thank you, Copper. Once I get Book Six under my belt, I’ll look at Two Notch and see if I can find a spinoff. Maybe a prequel with Abel.
That would be awesome! I enjoy both styles, Oz Chronicles & Two Notch, and I recommend the books to anybody that will listen. Just felt Two Notch needed a cheering section.
